A few questions about Heaven. Could you take a look please?
*****ANSWER ONLY THE ONES YOU FEEL LIKE***** And if you are uncertain, feel free to start with "I think" and speculate. 1) Doesn't the concept of eternity REALLY bug you? I mean that is a really really LONG time. No leaving if you get sick of it... 2) Do you keep your memories and personality when you go there? If yes, then how could every one possibly get along there? Could it still be heaven if you have to share it with people you don't like? If no, what is the difference of going or not going then? Wouldn't you not want to loose that part of you? 3) Do you still have free will? If yes, then would you be able to rebel as Satan did? What would stop you from bringing harm to others, intentionally or unintentionally? 4) Is there sex in Heaven? Especially among married couples. Does it allow you to procreate? How would it work for widows that remarried? 5) Do you look the same? Cause I think that would be a VERY rotten thing for everyone who was born ugly. And if so, what would be the deal with plastic surgery? 6) Do amputees reunite with their lost limbs? 7) Are there pets? 8) What about Food? 9) If you are a pacifist, will God understand and not expect you to fight for Heaven? 10) If everyone has the answers to everything and there is no conflicts, wouldn't that be a rather boring and pointless existence? 11) Are the mentally retarded, still retarded? If no, wouldn't that take away from their identity? 12) What about people with brain damage? 13) How will you ever get the time to talk to Jesus/God/The Holy Ghost, if they are always running the place, passing judgment and what not? 14) Will Jesus/God/The Holy Ghost be like celebrities and never be able to talk to all their fans? 15) Will celebrities still be celebrities? 16) Is there work in Heaven? I think this one would be difficult because some people LOVE their work. 17) Will your relatives be aware of every stupid/embarrassing thing you ever did (you know, even that **REALLY** stupid/embarrassing thing)? 18) Will there be art? 19) Sports? 20) Science? (meaning things for us to discover or create) You know, some of us rather like science. 21) Will we be able to observe the living? To what extent? Will we be able to read their thoughts? 22) Will we share it with Aliens? 23) Will God not share some information with us, or will we be granted insight to all knowledge? 24) Will our capacities change? 25) Will we miss loved ones that are not present? if so, how is it heaven? 26) Can we relive moments in our lives? 27) Will there be drugs? 28) Will we be allowed to listen to some of our favorite music, even if it is exactly Christian? I'm not going if I can't listen to Propagandhi or Bad Religion... 29) Can we choose not to go? If we choose so, does that only leave hell and limbo or are we free to wonder? 30) How many time would you be able to hear "I told you so" being uttered in conversation will you be able to handle before you loose it? 31) Will Heaven cease to grow when the world ends? 32) Where do people go in Heaven or Hell if they die? If they can't why would heaven and hell ever bother fighting? 33) Will you pee your pants if you see 31 virgins waiting at the gates for every suicide bomber? 34) What is the weather like there? 35) Will there be Y!A?

- Because yu put so much time into this, i will answer with one answer. Heaven is where we join in marriage to the groom, Jesus. We become one with God in this marriage. If you can imagine that , your better than me,But boring is not on my list of maybe's.
- But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.1 Corinthians 2:9 Heaven is a place of happiness - "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away" (Revelation 21:4). In heaven God will dwell with man - "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God" (Revelation 21:3). No night there - "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof " (Revelation 21:23). Heaven's New Jerusalem - is an unspeakable beauty, a city and streets of gold, gates of pearl, and precious stones (Revelation 21:10-21). Christians will live with Jesus in heaven - Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:2-3). The reunion of Christian loved ones - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). A Christian's eternal inheritance - "To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you" (1 Peter 1:4). EDIT: Bio Greek is not right. There have been a lot of people that have come back from the dead and told their story. Here is one of a man that was in a plane crash, died and came back to tell his story....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGpxfoF3SYg
- Personally, I don't want to live forever (I'm having enough trouble living NOW). 35) of course.
- i can understand your need to know about heaven but you are asking the wrong people. you should be asking the dead to tell you about their experiences but since nobody has ever come back from the dead you are unlikely to get an answer. the types of questions you are asking are the kind of questions a 5-6 year old kid would ask. grown ups have more important things on their minds. heaven is an imaginary place that is mentioned in many religions and does not really exist, only in our imagination. so use your imagination and make a suitable heaven in your mind to suit you needs and you will have your own heaven everybody else does the same .for example in the muslim heaven there are rivers of milk and honey, i don't drink milk and am not really fond of honey so what kind of heaven is this? its a kind of heaven imagined by people that had starvation problems during their lives a long time ago. its the same for the cristian heaven and so on . heavens are created so people would not feel bad about dying. but when u think about it you did not worry about not being alive before you were Born so i don't think you will be worried about not being alive after you die. i personally believe that religions are not very useful and only serve the not so smart and the not so educated and are used by the people in power. try to find your heaven on this earth while you are alive ,try never to hurt others and stop thinking about places that dont exist ,if they do one day you will find out what they look like whether you want it or not
- all these questions are nothing to concern yourself with when one stops to think of the alternative
