Nick Berry how come he starred in heartbeat(a 1950's show)aged about 30-40 years of age.Then during eastenders

10. Nick looked younger because he WAS younger. EastEnders hit our screens in February 1985; Nick joined the series in October of the same year and left in 1990. You may find that your picture of Nick was actually taken in 1988 and not 1998 (the hair is a clue, as EastEnders is contemporary drama). Heartbeat was first screened in April 1992, so it is understandable that he looked older in that series. At one time, Nick was the highest paid actor on British television. I don't watch Heartbeat, so I couldn't say for certain when it is set but given that the Buddy Holly song, "Heartbeat", which Nick recorded, as the title song, was released in 1958, I deduce that the drama must be set in the 1960s.
