IS wwe and all other wrestling industry's wrestling fake?

Millions of people are wwe fans and tune in every week to see their favourite superstars. But is all the wrestling and all thing related to it fake. Are all the matches previously planned and practiced. Some even say that the death of edie guerrero was stage. He just had a plastic surgery! This sounds very awful, is it true? Please tell me is wrestling fake and staged and acted?

  1. eddie gurrero did die! in 2005! that is a fact!!! but wrestling is orchestrated and is just entertainment not to be taKEN TOO SERIOUSLY!!
  2. 1) First things first, lets get the Eddie thing cleared up. He was a great actor and sportsman but drunk a lot of alchol and took pills. he did actually die in his hotel and this was not a storyline. 2) WWE, TNA etc is staged. The only two that I know of that arn't staged are JTL (www.jtlwrestling.piczo.com) and MMA. Hoped i helped you!
  3. The matches are predetermined, but not necessarily practiced beforehand. A lot of the action in the ring is improvised on the spot. Eddie Guerrero died for real, just like many other wrestlers who have died so young.
  4. As far as the wrestling goes, yes, it is all staged. "pro" wrestlers are really nothing more than really big actors who have gone through alot of stage combat training. As far as deaths go.. I will say accidents happen, so I doubt that would be faked. I would hope there are some things that are still considered too low to stoop to for ratings.
  5. Dude... WWE is a franchise... it is a brand of sport... yes but sport ENTERTAINMENT... dont forget that... the wrestlers may all be athletic and stuff, but outcomes are scripted and hence do not depend on the physical superiority of the wrestlers... However, injuries sustained are real... hence the 'DONT TRY THIS AT HOME'
  6. WWE is staged and faked - in the sense that all the matches are plannedin advance - they know exactly what they will do for the bigspots and they who will win. However, the people are reallydoing the stuff you see. While they are not actually punching and kicking each other. They actually are throwing each other around and jumping off high things into people. While they try to do it so that theywill not be injured, whenever they try suchdangerous things injuries do happen. Often times whenyou do not see a wresteler for a feweeks it is because he got injured doing one of the moves. Unfortunately, most of the deaths are not staged - Owen Hart and Eddie Guerro really are dead -but McMahon is not.
  7. First off, Eddie Guerrero did die, which was a sad day for us all, but yes all wrestling and everything with it is fake
  8. Some of the moves they make are real, but they are choreographed so they look much worse than they are. The chair smashing, hitting with bats and so on are fake. Some injuries are faked and some are real. I guess it is about 50/50 either way. Edie Guerrero's death was very real. He died in a hotel room soon after my daughter got to meet him. She was devastated.
