What are your thoughts on cosmetic (plastic) surgery?

Are you for it? Or against it? I think if someone really does have a psychological hang up about something and really wants it changed then I guess that's OK. I don't agree with it for being vain though. Your thoughts? well said :) "inner thought"

1. Against except after an illness etc. Natural beauty is the best.
2. I don't really agree with it, unless medically it is required. Maybe i'm just happy with what god gave me.

5. Yeah I would agree with you. Sometimes people can be so affected about certain things, and if plastic surgery can help them with that, then I'm all for it.

10. i agree with you, if somebody has had an accident or is extremeley depressed by something on their body i feel its justfiable, however, in general people should be happy in their own skin and just feel comfortable who they are, not just striving for perfection.

15. i wouldn't like to judge someone as if i looked in the mirror and seen something different to what other people see and i had surgery done to ease my own personal pain then i will not pass judgment on no one x x x
16. I dont get why females want to change their natural beauty. accepting yourself and being proud of who you are should make confidence. Plastic surgery wont, if anything it will crush it.
17. well to each his own I say.. but alot of the times the person doesn't need it but they tend to become obsessed with their looks.. thats when I see it as a problem.. but unless its maybe someone who is doing it with low self esteem and it helps them then I say go for it
18. I'm totally against it for vanity reasons, however I am for it if you were involved in an accident and needed to have it done
19. I don't see a problem with it, there is always the option to perfect something you're not happy with. I have friends who have had noses, boobs and whatever else done they are still the same people but more confident! On the other hand I knew a 40 year old mother of 5 who went for a tummy tuck and ended up dying in surgery. I say now that I'd never have anything done I'm happy with myself but who knows how I'll feel when things start to sag!! I think it's a personal thing that people shouldn't be judged on.
20. I have nothing against it. But I'm waiting for the pill I hate pain If it's no pain no gain ok no surgery no beauty for me.
