Against. I've never been for altering yourself for egotistical purposes. Especially with stories like Usher's wife who went to have liposuction 2 months after the birth of a baby. For heaven's sake, that's just insane. And didn't another celeb's mom die from complications of plastic surgery? Lisa Rinna's lips are disgusting after being pumped up so much. When will we quit being so vain in this world? If I were a celeb and had $$$$ I'd go the personal trainer route, NOT plastic surgery.
im way for it. I know a 55 y/o who just had a boob job and everyone's giving her crap for it. and I spoke to her and she was in tears cause she was finally happy with who she was but no one cared about that part they only saw that she had a boob job and was old. I mean it is her body and she's allowed to do w/e she wants with it so long as she's not putting other lives in danger.
I am in between on this issue. I am against cosmetic surgery when the person looks totally fine without it, and the body part that they don't like was totally normal before. Especially, if women get breast implants to unnaturally large sizes. However, it is still their body and I will not judge them only by their looks. What's most important, is that they are happy with their own body. Then there are times when I think that I am for it when someone has a really strange or huge flaw that they want to fix because it just draws way too much attention, and people are judging them based on that. For example, a huge crooked nose. If the only way that person can feel good about themselves is get surgery, then I say do it. Sometimes, an accident like a fire and and car accidents can do lots of facial damage or scarring that the only way to look human again is to have surgery. In the end, I think it is the persons own choice, although I wouldn't do it.
Against people who change themselves just becasue they eanted bigger boobs or a prettier nose!!! But For- for the people who get it because of accidents or burns
