reasons for plastic / cosmetic surgery ?

at work we were discussing reasons people have plastic / cosmetic surgery. in your opinion what would be the silliest or most ridiculous reason for having surgery.

1. butt implants?!! are you serious?? and peck implants on guys!! that is so lazy its called work out!
2. The silliest reason is wanting to look like someone else because you're not doing it for personal reasons you just want to buy a better body. Also these people who havent got any body fat and want lipo suction. Girls with D cups who want to have F cups. Eyebrow lifts (why would you want to look freaky?) Also why would anyone want to paralyse their face with botox and think it looks attractive.
3. most people do it through insecurity, personally i think it should only be available for those whom need surgery to repair damaged skin, facial scars or something that could potentially cause trauma to someone, like burns, etc... otherwise is purely a use for vain people to try and convince themselves they are pretty/attractive. *selfishness if you ask me*
4. 5. the reason most people do it is silly/ridiculous we are what we are and have to learn to love ourselves. a partner of mine fifteen years ago was in the army and had to have work done on his leg after he was in a fire, that to me is a good reason to have surgery not just cause you think others dont like the way you look, if they dont like you thats thier problem not yours. i have F cup boobs and if they were much heavier i could understand why people have health issues and make them smaller but as for all other options of how to mutalate your body no sorry i just dont get it

7. if a person does it for the right reasons, for them self, because they really dont like a part of them self and really really knocks their confidence but they are not influenced by other people then i think its okay. having bigger boobs is stupid i think, all boobs are nice. x
