Should I get liposuction?
I gained weight on steroids. I've lost 50 pounds so far but I need to lose 80 more. Anyway, I've lost weight slowly and my skin on my arms is sagging horribly. It's only getting worse, not better. I have stretch marks from my armpit to my elbow so even when I lose weight, I can't get a tan or wear short sleeve shirts without them showing. Chances are, I'll probably have to get an arm lift anyway. I'm 16 but I'm pretty much done growing. I was wondering if I should get liposuction on my arms now instead of waiting and letting my arms get worse and getting a more dangerous and expensive surgery with not as great results? I'm not a vain person who thinks there's something wrong with every part of my body or anything. It's just that what's the point of losing weight if I can't even wear a short sleeved shirt? I already have to have my breasts done (my breast bone pokes out and then my breasts start) so I might as well get everything else fixed too, right? Excerise will not firm them up. I can afford it. My parents will pay for it and I have their permission. I wouldn't even think about getting liposuction because I know that if you gain weight again, you don't look so great if something as simple as rubbing lotion on my skin would work. Because it's bad enough I have stretch marks but my arms will still look fat since the skin isn't "bouncing back" exactly. Lotion won't firm the skin back up.

- you probably can't afford that at 16 becausei t really expensive.
- dont get lipo.. the side effects are horrible.. what ppl dont know is that when u have lipo.. the fat cells are removed from that portion of your body.. and then as you gain wait.. the wait will come back on every spot except that part.. ppl get fat lumps in wierd places b/c of lipo.. also.. try cocobutter lotion for stretch marks.. it helps to fade awary the marks and give u better color.. try it and see what happens.. BTW.. congrats on losing so much weight!
- Liposuction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.tour2india4health.com Hope this helps.
