How do I get rid of the hanging skin on the back of my arms?
Liposuction will not do the trick, it will still leave the hanging skin. I do arm exercises every day and every type and have been doing for years and it doesnt get any firmer and my arms would have to be huge in order to fill in all the hanging skin, I am 40 and have had this problem all my life and no I havent had any drastic weight loss. are there any surgical procedures that will remove this. It is so embarrassing when my arms flap in the air when i am on my motorcycle. Yes I am female thanks!!!! would this be cosmetic surgery??

- Yes, it is cosmetic surgery. It's like a tummy tuck--they remove the extra skin and pull it tight and suture the edges together. They might do some liposuction too, not sure. It leaves a pretty big scar up the back of the arm--I know someone who had it done. I have huge flappy batwing arms and I'd love to have it done too. I think it's called a Brachioplasty. Call a plastic surgeon who does body work (not just faces).
- Try working out and extending your triceps. Do aerobics or pilates which help stratch out your muscles and tone your body rather than bulking it up.
- Liposuction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America. Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.forerunnershealthcare.com Hope this helps.
