What are some healthy ways for a girl to lose alot of weight?

Okay so I'm a girl and im about 5'0 and i weigh 180 ilbs. I have stretch marks around my arms and stomach. I want to know some healthy ways for me to lose weight and lose the stretch marks. Please no stupid answers like liposuction and become anorexic I want answers that could really help me!

  2. Try Weight Watchers. They will show you how the point system works, and will give you support each week. And believe me... it's worth the money. You will also make some good friends... you get to swap recipes also... and they will give you good hints for low point foods.

  5. even though your overweight, if your a young girl then its unhealthy to lose alott of weight a time. just tell your mom that your concerned about your weight and tell her to make healthier meals and that you want to excercise.

  7. I think you need a good diet and exercise. You need to eat a lot of greens and protein and drink tons of water. About the stretch marks, I believe this would be cosmetic. The Best of Luck to You.
  8. There are plenty of healthy diets out there. Cutting down on fatty and sugary foods like pop and french fries can help massively. You could also hit the gym or try setting up routines; jogging for 10 minutes at 3:00pm, then slowly increase the time as you feel more comfortable. Also, talk to your doctor! It may have nothing to do with eating, but stress or even a thyroid problem. I hope you find the best way for you, and good luck!

NOTHING at all like chips and candy. the only healthy thing thing you can do is eat healthy and exercise. not eating at all will make ur body go in to starvation mode(meaning ur body will hold on to any food you give it) making you gain even more weight. If you really want to lose weight then you will. It's hard but if u dedicate urself you can do it
  11. Get on a healthy diet and watch your calories. Eat things like grilled chicken, brocolli, rice. Fruits and Vegies. Fish. etc. Excercise. 30 minutes at least everyday. An hour would be great. You could walk, run on a treadmill, ride your bike, lift weights. I would ask your doctor or a parent for support and answers too. You could try a personal trainer. I have a friend who went to a health camp for 3 weeks and they taught her about what to eat and excercise and she has lost 30 pounds so far. Keep a positive attitude and you can do it! Best of luck.
  12. You obviously need to eat healthy foods and watch how many calories you consume. You can check online to see how many you should be eating, and eat less than that. You can keep a journal to record what you eat because sometimes its easy to forget all the snacks. Also, EXERCISE! Just dieting can get rid of muscle mass. Try to include more physical exercise even if its just parking farther away from the door when you go to the store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

  14. I would suggest going to see you doctor. He or she can put you on a plan specifically for you and you're going to get the best and healthiest results that way. If you can't or don't want to do that then just watch your calorie intake and try to work out. Take it easy to start with don't over do it. Build up as you feel able to. Go to www.caloriecount.com (I think that's right). You can calculate how many calories you should eat in a day to lose a certain amount of weight in a certain time frame. It will not tell you if you goal is unhealthy so try to choose a time frame that is good for you. As far as working out I bought an elliptical machine from walmart. You burn almost twice the calories on one of these than on the treadmill. It's amazing. It's a tough workout though. The first time you do it don't be discouraged if you can't do it very long. My first time I did like 5 minutes and thought I was going to die. The next time though I think I did 30 minutes and it wasn't so bad. As for the stretch marks there are treatments you can have done. You'll have to ask your doctor about that. I hope that helps.

IVE LOST 5 POUNDS!!!! in like 5 days or less ok well she made a food pyramid for me and it really works cause the ones they have in nurses offices are lies....farmers created those so you'd by their bread and wheat stuff... ok heres what you eat daily 1 starch 1 sugar 2 meats 2 fruits 5 vegetables 8 cups of water i don't even do the fruits and vegetables thing....i just cut down all those starches and i've already lost 5 pound i was like woah baby!!!!!

  17. jenny craig. or eat small portions and exercise (Aerobic) for 20 minutes every day. Quit soda,lucky charms,etc. Eat oatmeal cranberry juice.
