What do you call the operation where they suck fat out of your arms?

liposuction is when the suck fat out of your legs tummy tuck is when the suck fat out of your stomach? I'm going to make 10 000 dollars this summer and I was thinking I could spend it on plastic surgery... I became obese about 4 months ago.

  2. It's all liposuction. Tummy tuck is a more specific procedure (technically called abdominoplasty) that involves the removal of stomach fat and skin in order to tighten the area. If fat is just being sucked out, it's liposuction, not a tummy tuck.

  10. You don't know much about plastic surgery. Liposuction is not a cure for obesity. Diet and exercise is the cure for obesity, but nobody wants to hear that. Liposuction isn't often done on the arms. I've seen it done on the belly, flanks, thighs, inner knees, buttocks, as part of breast reduction surgery, and under the chin. It is used to reshape areas, definitely not for weight loss. When you suck fat out of the arms you are left with flabby skin that hangs (bat wings). The way to fix that is a procedure called brachioplasty. Tummy tuck is abdominoplasty. No sucking involved.
