I have a question about Liposuction.... ?

When you get lipo in certain areas, like the arm, tummy, or thighs, does your body eventually distribute the leftover fat evenly...? As in, will you look normal? Because I don't get why you would take out fat from only your stomach for example and leave it in other areas.. it'd just look weird and disproportionate!

  1. LOL
  2. I know liposuction seems like the easiest answer. But you're right it does actually remove the fat cells so when you gain weight, the fat cells in another area will increase. I've heard of stories of people gaining weight in their calves and other areas. It's usually best to work the weight off the hard way.
  3. Nope. Your body won't distribute evenly the leftover fat. In fact, the fat cells that are leftover in the liposuction areas (there's bound to be some fat that's left behind as the technique hasn't got to the stage that's capable of sucking out all fat - surface and deep seated fats) and fat cells in other areas of your body will get bigger so you become fat again, if you don't exercise and eat healthily, after the surgery.......
