lazy eye on 16 years old ?

I am 16 and I found out that I have a lazy eye. My doctor said that its not that kind of lazy eye when people have double vision and stuff... it just can see little bit worse than another eye but when I use them both I have no problems at all. I first noticed it on the pictures. that lazy eye is not going sideway. its jut appears smaller. I ve heard that Paris hilton has the same problem but they say she has it from botched eye plastic surgery and there nothing she can do. they are covering it with makeup and side looks.when she looks forward you can see it on the left eye..I have it because I was lieing and watching tv like that so that pressure was going only on another eye and first one got lazy. my doctor recommended eye patch. how do you think will it help at age of 16 as its not very difficult condition ?????? http://www.pocketheather.com/images/paris-hilton-lazy-eye12_copy.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/81102135@N00/560999504/

2. i dont know if an eye patch would help at your age- i have a lazy eye too- but i wore an eye patch from the age of three to about 7 (i know, a REALLY long time- i hated it) and it improved slightly, but not very much.
3. My little sister has lazy eye. The doctor gave her an eye patch to wear and it did correct it somewhat. If she would have kept wearing it like she should have I believe her eye would look normal. The only reason she didn't wear it is because she said she looked like a pirate. Go with the patch and see how it works for you.
4. My friend has a lazy eye and she has glasses. So go and talk to an eye doctor; she/he'll get you sorted out!
