LIPOSUCTION - traditional method or the new laser lipo?

I'm saving up for liposuction. I know that laser lipo has a faster healing time and that the traditional method can cause more scarring... HOWEVER, which is more effective?

I've had smartlipo done which is laser liposuction but the way my surgeon does it is he combines tumescent lipo with the smartlipo, that way he can remove alot of fat with the tumescent and then make it real smooth and tighten the skin with the smartlipo. I would recommend looking for a good surgeon that does something similar. As far as recovery, it depends on both the person and the surgeon as well as the type of lipo used. when i got my love handles done I was fine the next day, when I had my thighes done, the muscles were really sore and it took about three days for me to walk around normally. I think it was definately worth it and I'm really happy with the results. good luck!
