How many times can you get the laser surgery for abnormal cell changes in your cervex?

I got the laser surgery one time, my abnormal pap came back again can you jus tkeep getting the laser surgery as much as u have to? I dont want them to take out a piece of my cervix out id rather do the laser again if i have to.

2. I think they can do it again, but you really want to follow the advice of your physician on this. Abnormal cells is considered pre-cancer, and you definitely want to do the right thing to prevent its progression. Good luck.
3. You can get it frozen. That's what I had done. They cryogenicly(sp) freeze your cervix. It took about 45 minutes or so....I had bad cramps for a half an hour...but no chunks were taken out and it done the trick.....untill more cells start growing...knock on wood...it's been 3 years on so far so good. I didn't know you could get laser surgery...I got two options...they cut the top layer off my cervix or get it frozen....that wasn't a hard desicion to say the least. You get the freezing process done as many times as needed. I have no idea about the laser or the cutting one.
