Is laser surgery the only way to remove a mole?

I want to get a mole removed on my stomach. Is laser surgery the only option? Plz serious answers only!!

Depending on the size - it can be surgically removed by a dermatologist. However, insurance won't cover laser or surgical removal for just cosmetic reasons.
Some type of surgery is required. There's laser surgery, and then there's just surgery by the usual scalpel method. I've had a couple removed by the scalpel method by my dermatologist. He used a local anesthetic and it was done in minutes with minimal stitches and very little scarring. The scar was just a colored straight line that is fading over time. It didn't hurt at all, just sort of a weird feeling if I moved the wrong way and stretched the stitches for the 10 days.
no my husband had one removed & he decribed it as like a cookie cutter. He was awake and didn't feel much at all but it left a kinda bad scar BUT I think that is just because he heals weird he scars from almost everything. Talk to a dermatoligest.

they can cut it out... i think that would be cheaper. or freeze it off. but those options hurt like helll lol but YES there are many other options :) good luck hon
