- I wouldnt
- Depending on the size - it can be surgically removed by a dermatologist. However, insurance won't cover laser or surgical removal for just cosmetic reasons.
- Some type of surgery is required. There's laser surgery, and then there's just surgery by the usual scalpel method. I've had a couple removed by the scalpel method by my dermatologist. He used a local anesthetic and it was done in minutes with minimal stitches and very little scarring. The scar was just a colored straight line that is fading over time. It didn't hurt at all, just sort of a weird feeling if I moved the wrong way and stretched the stitches for the 10 days.
- no my husband had one removed & he decribed it as like a cookie cutter. He was awake and didn't feel much at all but it left a kinda bad scar BUT I think that is just because he heals weird he scars from almost everything. Talk to a dermatoligest.
- Follow the link. Good luck.
- they can cut it out... i think that would be cheaper. or freeze it off. but those options hurt like helll lol but YES there are many other options :) good luck hon
- I had one removed surgically, email me if you have questions about it
