Is using laser surgery safe to remove acne?

Is using laser surgery safe to remove acne? How effective is it? Does the acne ever return? Is this a procedure u must get every couple of years to remain effective?

1. I did not know you could remove pimples with a laser..why would you , since acne crops up in different places all the time. I mean you could have them zapped one day and then the next day 100 different pores could erupt...You sure of your facts?
2. I have done this. I would not do it again. To be quite honest I beleive it was a waste of my time and money. The zap of the laser after a while it's just like torture, i started shaking about 3/4 of the way because you are constentaly tensing up through the procedure, and it's painful, not enough that i could not bare, but i'd rather be waterboarded if i had the option... I honestly saw no real difference that would have warrented the time, or pain.
