do you think plastic surgery is a bad thing?
i don't believe it is. i had a nose job because i couldn't breath, and i wanted to fix the bump in my nose anyway while im under the knife! i think if you go through all that pain you deserve it and no one should look down upon you. what do you think?

- yes it is please answer mines http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090302071601AAT8a0S
- It's no ones business what you do. Even if you did it for strictly cosmetic reasons, it shouldn't be their concern.
- i totally agree with you! if it is necessary then its ok!
- I don't like it. People need to learn to be happy with themselves. They're too into how they look, which isn't gonna last forever anyway. My nose was stuffed for years (I used to snore while I was awake) and it's disproportionate to my face but my dad has it, my grandma has it, so damn it, I'll keep it too
- yes.
- it just depends what its for i have surgery one my face for scars from my car wreck so of course its not ALL BAD
- if is something that you need (like ur for example) then i think its fine... if some fatass wants to have lipo instead of work out..then yea is wrong
- I think if it really effects your life having an 'imperfection' then it's okay in most circumstances, like if it really depresses you or holds you back. But when it's completely superficial like wanting breast enlargements because you think it will look good and attract more men then no.
- plastic surgery was first created to help repair soldiers faces after wars so they could lead a normal life again with their loved ones. plastic surgery has done so many wonderful things, for example, fix babies' faces that have a cleft lip. Like you, my mom had a nose job because she had a deviated septum, before it though she was sick for a very long time with a huge sinus infection and she had problems getting it to drain. As soon as she had the surgery all that blockage began to drain out of her sinuses and she got healthier again. I know a girl who had a breast reduction because she was a very skinny and very short girl, but her boobs grew to double E's and it was hurting her back so much! I also think that some girls who get a boob job to go up a cup size do better in life because they have that confidence and they no longer have to worry about their breasts, they can go on and worry about better things like work and not be so shallow. Some women just need that confidence. There are many people who give plastic surgery a bad name, like Tara Reid, but overall, I think the good out ways the bad.
- No I I don't think it is a bad thing. It helps soooooo many people! I know I am for sure getting a boob job one day!
